Australia's renowned brand for Men's Tailoring M.J. Bale continues to partner with WeAreDigital to enhance their online presence and create an elevated headless eCommerce experience.

Background

M.J. Bale's e-commerce needed a revamp, with restructured categories and content distribution to boost traffic toward custom and bespoke tailoring, supporting potential growth into a native app. The focus was on a mobile-first, accessible customer journey that reflects the brand's heritage and values while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Design Process

I collaborated with the team to kick off the project with a client workshop to define the scope for the headless rebuild. We conducted research, including quantitative and competitive analysis, affinity diagramming, and card sorting, in partnership with the eCommerce manager, content manager, and art director. We then delivered sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, component designs, content matrices, and style guides.

Headless Comes with Improved Architecture, Accessibility and Performance

The WeAreDigital team delivered the redesigned headless website with upgraded architecture that supports highly configurable template blocks with Storyblok. The sites headless framework increased the accessibility by 44%, speed by 10 % and7% increase in SEO google search essentials
